Does anybody know what channel this is on for deffinate yet? I can't seem to find it on any of the BBC channels listings on the sky tv guide

OK. What didn’t you understand about the above BBC World?

What I didnt understand was, what exactly BBC World was. I've not heared of it before so I didn't know if it was it's own channel or it's own program on a channel.

BBC World is broadcast in Europe (and N Africa) on 13°E. It is NOT broadcast to your Sky box 28·2°E - 28·5°E. It is broadcast on lots of other satellites around the world.

Just wish I'd read these exchanges more closely....just spent about half an hour searching, PC, Radio and TV listings...no I'd never heard of this channel before and didn't understand what it was either. All I can gather is that I don't have it and can't see it!

Pretty much nobody in the UK can get BBC World unless they have a non-standard satellite system (like wot I’ve got).

Well, that was thoroughly satisfying, if not overly informative.
I was a little surprised at the lack of flexibility in the Catholic side, I expected them to...try harder, I suppose. I'm used to seeing debates where the pro-religion side bends definitions and jumps through loopholes, not sticks their fingers in their ears and go "La la la I can't hear you talk about sex la la la".
