OK. What didn’t you understand about the above BBC World?

What I didnt understand was, what exactly BBC World was. I've not heared of it before so I didn't know if it was it's own channel or it's own program on a channel.

Simon_Gardner wrote:BBC World is broadcast in Europe (and N Africa) on 13°E. It is NOT broadcast to your Sky box 28·2°E - 28·5°E. It is broadcast on lots of other satellites around the world.

but know I know :-D
and in future if someone such as myselfs lack of knowledge upsets you, no need to retort with a narky or sacastic comment, jus save urself the hassle and don't reply.

Just wish I'd read these exchanges more closely....just spent about half an hour searching, PC, Radio and TV listings...no I'd never heard of this channel before and didn't understand what it was either. All I can gather is that I don't have it and can't see it!

Shame. BBC World is one of the UK’s premier exports.

The Telegraph review was right. The two catholics were flattened.

Yes I'd read peoples reports from the debate with interest and was enticed into thinking I was going to at least be able to hear it! Darn Virgin TV!

Pretty much nobody in the UK can get BBC World unless they have a non-standard satellite system (like wot I’ve got).

Thanks honey, so presumably I just switch onto that at the appropriate time. Will give it a go, anyway.

Same. The Bishop was shit, there's no two ways abuot it. I could've defended the catholic church better, and I hate the thing :???:

Well, that was thoroughly satisfying, if not overly informative.
I was a little surprised at the lack of flexibility in the Catholic side, I expected them to...try harder, I suppose. I'm used to seeing debates where the pro-religion side bends definitions and jumps through loopholes, not sticks their fingers in their ears and go "La la la I can't hear you talk about sex la la la".

Did the Archbishop make anyone else think that the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing?
